5 steps on the cooking perfect steak

Even for the best chefs, cooking the perfect juicy steak can be a challenge. The steaks are usually thin pieces of meat that can dry out quickly or cook too quickly to try them, hard and tasty.

Use a thick frying pan or stove at the heating plate on a gas plate. With an electric cooktop or a grill, you have less heat control.

Buy a good quality steak of your butchers or online, try staying away from cheap supermarket meat. The flood steak and the rump steak contain more flavor and have a texture. The net steak is mild and less flavor.

Step 1 Prepare your steaks

Take your refrigerator steaks 30 to 60 minutes before cooking. This allows them to come to the ambient temperature that makes them easier to cook.

If your steaks are frozen, place them in the refrigerator overnight and remove them from the refrigerator before cooking.

Step 2 Preheat the pan

Heat the empty saucepan on the stove until it is hot. Now you can either add a small oil, then add your steaks or if you prefer to brush your steaks with oil and place in the pan.

Sunflower, canola or peanut oil is the best. Avoid olive oil because it can make your steaks bitter.

Ask the steaks in the pan away from you. If you get a nice sizzling soft but not explosive, the heat of your saucepan is right.

Season with salt and pepper to your liking.

Step 3 Cook for your desire

For a medium steak, cook the first side for 3 to 4 minutes, then slightly reduce heat and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

By using a pair of pliers, gently turn the steaks and cook for another 5 minutes.

To test the way the steak is done, press with your finger. Rare will be mild, well done will feel firm and average between the two.

Step 4 Rest your cooked steaks

The resting the meat is equally important and cooked the steaks, it allows the juice to be attracted and to become wet and tender.

Remove your steaks from the pan with the clip and rest on a rack with aluminum foil and leave yourself in a warm place – the oven is best for that. 5 to 10 minutes is enough.

Step 5 Serve and enjoy

Reheat your plates, place the rest of the food on the plates, then the steaks last – you want them to stay hot.
